At Weather.com you can check the weather forecasts for your trip when you get close to departure.  Weather.com offers detailed forecasts for most towns and cities around the world with sometimes up to 17 days of weather forecast available.  So click on the logo and start checking your weather so you are sure to pack the essentials.

NOAA Hurricane Center

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration supplies up to date current hurricane analysis, prognostications, and forecasts so that if your travels involve going through or to a hurricane-prone area, you can use their tools to see what may be coming your way.  Hurricane season for the Caribbean is June through November peaking in September.

Weatherbase

Here is a website where you can find your destination or proposed destination and learn about the historical averages of temperatures, precipitation and more.  This can be a great tool to help plan where you want to go and what time of year is best to visit that destination.
